National Conference 2023

Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy Conference

Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy organized a two-day national conference on "Sustainable Development of Herbal Formulations Significant in Human Health Care" on June 30 and July 1, 2023.

The conference was inaugurated with a guest lecture by Dr. Kuldeep Ganju, Principal of SIPTec, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He delivered a session on the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. AI can be used to accelerate the conventional methods used in developing and designing lead compounds, which can take one to two decades without AI.

The third session of the conference was addressed by Dr. Sarvesh Sharma, Drug Inspector, FDA, Bhopal. He shared his personal experiences at LNCP during his teaching tenure and highlighted the importance of herbal medicines, the flaws of allopathic treatments, the need for sustainability in research, and the enhancement of herbal formulations that can effectively combat diseases. The session was lively and engaging.

After lunch, the program continued with students displaying their posters and presenting papers, which were evaluated by our esteemed judges. The session concluded with a vote of thanks. The conference was coordinated by the organizing secretary, Dr. Dilip Kumar Tiwari and Mrs. Neelima Mishra Upadhyay. The anchoring was done by Ms. Akanksha Chaturvedi.
